About Therapy

Am I Crazy?

If you’re asking that question, it means you’re still aware—so you are okay! We all carry pain, and sometimes it’s too heavy to hold alone. Life and relationships can be deeply challenging, and the ones closest to us can sometimes hurt the most. In therapy we pursue connection, support, and healing in relationships. Its a safe space that’s just for you—to ask hard questions, explore what’s hurting, and begin to understand both the pain within and around you. Together, we’ll uncover healthier ways to cope, so you can stop hurting yourself or others—and start feeling more like yourself again.

Can we talk about my faith?

Whether you are Healing from, Searching for or trying to Hold onto your faith in the midst of suffering in your life, community and world. You are welcome to share your spiritual journey and we will discover how that has played a part in your relationships and mental health.  Your body, mind, and soul are deeply connected. When one-part hurts, the others feel it too. My hope is to support healing in every part of you, gently and with care.

I don't see my issue listed--Now what?

No worries! Give me a call and I can help refer you to someone with training in your area of need.  Here are a few counselors I like in the area who are also great resources I use often: Dr Suzanne Shelton PhD, Sara Bickerstaff LMHC, Arlene Thomas MS LMFT and Andrew Deal LICSW
